Do you work for the fire department?
No. AZ FIREWISE is an independent company founded by Kara Holt, a resident in Strawberry Arizona. Our team members and work force groups work in cooperation with local fire districts and community organizations to educated and offer services to help our communities reduce their risk of loss due to wildfires.
What is the AZ FIREWISE Evaluation?
Utilizing the guidelines set forth by the local fire district, our project coordinators will visit your property and provide a checklist of items to the property owner/agent which are recommended to reduce the fire fuel on the property and to create a “FIRE FREE DEFENSIBLE SPACE” area.
Do I need to be at the property for service?
No. Our on-line and e-commerce capabilities allow the project coordinators to complete evaluations, estimates and perform services without anyone being physically on the project site. Once we receive your approval of the estimate, a scheduler will coordinate your service, “before” photos will be taken and sent to you. Once the service is complete “after” photos will be provided along with a copy of the completed checklist. Payments may be made in person by check, or remotely by phone or via e-commerce options. We accept no cash.
What are work force groups?
Workforce groups are comprised of independent contractors who work together as a team to complete your AZ FIREWISE project. Your project is organized and managed by a project coordinator who matches your service criteria with the availability and expertise of the independent contractors who are part of your project team (Based upon your project specifications and desired completion date).
What services are offered by the work force groups?
Some of the services offered by the work force groups include tree trimming, pine needle/leaf litter blowing, gutter cleaning, deck & roof clearing and debris (fire fuel) removal.
